Band 8 writing needs: 1) a clear position throughout, 2) two fully developed ideas (not four shallow ones), 3) natural C2 vocabulary — not memorized “fancy” phrases examiners instantly flag. Task 1: overview paragraph is non-negotiable.
🗣️ Speaking — target 7.5+
Fluency > accent. Answer with the ARE method: Answer → Reason → Example. Record yourself daily and practice Part 2 cue cards with a 2-minute timer.
