⚡ Quick answer: IELTS runs up to 4 times a month per city: paper-based on fixed Saturdays/Thursdays, computer-based almost daily. Computer tests give results in 3-5 days vs 13 days for paper. Fee is ₹1,900 (Academic & GT same). Book 4-6 weeks ahead.
Paper vs computer: which to pick
- Computer: faster results, headphones, on-screen timer, typing = faster Writing
- Paper: better if you annotate heavily or type slowly
- Same difficulty, same certificate — no “easier” version exists
